Client: Mambo Zuri

Role: Director, Art Director and Animation

Mambo Zuri is a media platform born from a group of young Kenyans living in the U.K., who lacked a platform to connect, inform and network. Mambo Zuri was created to provide a realistic, positive and forward-thinking source of information relative to the audience. The motion graphic videos celebrate African Pop culture in a vibrant and playful aesthetic—celebrating the past and present in our continent. Using celebrated symbols and legends of African culture, influenced by pop surrealism aesthetics.
