Paula Karanja is a Kenyan Producer, an Animation and Extended Reality Filmmaker and a Visual Artist, 

​working across New Media, Animation, Extended Reality, Games, Comics and Graphic Applications.

With a strong focus on allegorical storytelling, speculative writing and world-building, her work delves into a more comprehensive examination of traditional and modern Pan-African identities, cultures, human behaviour and environments in digital and physical spaces. 

In addition to her creative work, Paula is an Animation Adjunct Lecturer, guiding and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers with a focus on Design, 2D Animation and Animation History.
